Notifications Page Overview

Modified on Fri, 20 Sep at 2:39 PM

The Notifications page in Vesscomm provides a centralised location to view and manage all alerts and notifications related to your vessel’s sensors. This page is designed to help you stay informed about the status of your vessel and take action if any issues arise.

Key Features of the Notifications Page:

  1. Viewing Notifications:

    • The Notifications page displays a list of alerts generated by your vessel’s sensors.
    • To view a notification in more detail, click on the specific notification.
    • On the Notification Details side, you will see the exact point at which the sensor was triggered into either a warning or fault threshold. This helps you understand what caused the alert and what action might be needed.
  2. Archiving Notifications:

    • Once you've reviewed a notification, you can archive it to keep your active notifications list uncluttered.
    • To archive a notification, click the box icon to the right of the timestamp on the left-hand side of the page.
    • Archived notifications can be viewed at any time by selecting the appropriate option from the drop-down filter list on the Notifications page.
  3. Managing Notifications:

    • If you want to customise the thresholds that trigger notifications, this can be done within the sensor settings. Please refer to the article on Sensor Settings for more details on how to adjust these thresholds.

Additional Tips:

  • Archiving notifications does not delete them; it simply moves them to the archived section for future reference.
  • Regularly review your notifications to ensure that any warning or fault triggers are addressed promptly to avoid operational issues with your vessel.
