The Map tab in the Vesscomm platform allows you to visualise the latest reported location and historical location of your vessel, and it supports the zoom-in and zoom-out functionality for a more detailed view.
It is split between a "History" and "Geofencing" tab.
Map Navigation:
Use the zoom controls to focus in on specific areas or zoom out for a broader view of your vessel’s movement.
Switch between Map and Satellite views by toggling the button in the top-right corner of the map.
Viewing Location History:
- Time Filters:You can filter the location tracking points of your vessel by choosing one of the following time periods:
- 24 Hours
- 7 Days
- 30 Days
- Custom Time Periods:
- For exact date ranges (up to 30 days), you can use the slider bar to select your desired time frame.
- Visual Tracking: The selected time frame’s location data will be displayed visually on the map, with coordinates listed to the left of the map.
- Zooming In: Next to each logged coordinate is a crosshair icon, allowing you to zoom in on that specific location on the map.
Exporting Data:
- All location data can be exported as a CSV file for further analysis or record-keeping by clicking the “Export to CSV” button.
