How do I set a geofence on the mobile app?

To set a geofence using the mobile app, follow these steps:

1. Select Your Vessel: Open the app and choose your vessel from the main dashboard.

2. Access the Map: Tap the map icon located in the navigation bar at the bottom of the screen.

3. Choose "Geofence": Once on the map view, tap the "Geofence" button to start setting your geofence.

You should see the following screen:

On the mobile app, you can create a circular geofence around your vessel. If you'd like to create a freehand drawn geofence, this feature is only available through the web browser on a computer. Please refer to our other article on creating a geofence to find out how to do this.

Adjusting the Geofence Radius

• Use the slider bar on your screen to adjust the size of the geofence. The radius can range from 25 meters to 500 meters.
• A dark grey circle will appear around your vessel icon, representing the geofence boundary.

Once you’ve set the radius to your preference, tap "Create" to save your geofence.

Once your geofence is created, you will be notified if your vessel leaves the defined area.

Important: Make sure you have enabled push notifications in your phone’s settings to receive these alerts.
